OXYTETRACYCLINUM 20% pulvis hydrosolubilis – Powder for oral administration, Packing sizes: 10 g, 20 g, 50 g, 100 g, 200 g, 500 g and 1.0 kg.
Active substance in 100 g product: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 20 g, Excipients: Dextrose up to 100 g
THIS VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCT IS RECOMMENDED FOR THE FOLLOWING TARGET SPECIES – cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), pigs, birds and fish.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS – The product is indicated for the treatment of bacterial enteritis in pigs caused by E.coli and Salmonella choleraesuis,leptospirosis in mother pigs (to reduce the incident of abortion and manifestation of leprospirosis) caused by Leptospira pomona, in calves for the treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by E. coli, in sheep for the treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by E. coli, in birds for the treatment of infectious synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae, for the treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and infectious airsacculitis caused by M. gallisepticum and E. coli, for the treatment of bird cholera caused by P. multocida; in turkeys for the treatment of hexamytosis caused by Hexamita meleagridis, for the treatment of infectious synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae, for the treatment of transmissible and coronavirus enteritis complicated by microbes; in fish – for the treatment of furunculosis and haemorrhagic septicemia.
METHOD AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION – For oral administration. Add in drinking water or mix with food, as follows:
Pigs – 1 g/10 kg body weight. (200 mg OTC-HCl/10 kg body weight for up to 14 days for the treatment of bacterial enteritis in pigs caused by E. coli and Salmonella choleraesuis, leptospirosis in mother pigs (to reduce the incident of abortion and manifestation of leprospirosis) caused by Leptospira pomona;
Calves – 1 g/10 kg body weight. (200 mg OTC-HCl/10 kg body weight) for up to 14 days for the treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by E. coli;
Sheep (lambs) – 1 g/10 kg body weight. (200 mg OTC-HCl/10 kg body weight) for up to 14 days for the treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by E. coli;
Birds – 50 g/100 L (100 mg OTC-HCl/L of water) for the treatment of infectious synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae;
100 g/100 L of water (200 mg OTC-HCl/L of water) for the treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and infectious airsacculitis caused by M. gallisepticum and E. coli; for the treatment of bird cholera caused by P. multocida;
Turkeys – 50 g/100 L of water (100 mg ОТС-НCl /L of water) for the treatment of hexamytosis caused by Hexamita meleagridis;
50 g/100 L (100 mg OTC-HCl/ L of water) for the treatment of infectious synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae;
250 mg/kg body weight. (50 mg OTC-HCl/kg body weight) per day for the treatment of transmissible and coronavirus enteritis complicated by microbes.
Fish – 30 g/100 kg for the treatment of furunculosis and haemorrhagic septicemia.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: Meat and offal: cattle, pigs, sheep and goats – 7 days; hens – 5 days; fish – 720 degree-days.
Do not use in animals which are intended to produce milk for human consumption.
